The Importance of a Good relationship
Every good relationship is divine and is ordered by God.
A good relationship will help you build your dreams and visions.
But a bad relationship will ruin your dreams, family and life.
So What is the Meaning of relationship?
It is
“the way in which two or more people or things are connected, or the state of being connected.”
In other words it is a deep connection in between two or more people.
There are Different kinds of relationships
An example is the Relationship between a husband and wife
In Genesis 2:24 it states
“Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.”
So Why are the relationships in our life so important?
Good relationships will bring blessings in your life
Moses had a relationship with Aaron both as a brother and as a spokes person. Moses requested a spokesperson from God and Aaron became the spokesman for him. God commissioned Aaron to help Moses fulfil His vision for the Israelites. Aaron was living a normal life and because of Moses’ request he became his assistant in the ministry. God later asked Moses to anoint Aaron’s children as priests. So Aaron and his generation became a blessing through Moses. Even though Aaron was helping Moses, God used Moses to release certain blessings upon him.
The next question is Why Abraham asked Lot to be separated from him?
Abraham knew that Lot was going to be a stumbling block in his vision. So he took a wise decision to depart from him . Because of that single decision he could achieve the promises in his life. And the Lord blessed and honoured him and made him the father of many nations.
In Genesis 13:9 it states
“Is not the whole land before you? Please separate from me. If you take the left, then I will go to the right; or, if you go to the right, then I will go to the left.”
Your close relationships will influence your life and visions. Think about the Lots in your life. If there is any Lot in your life it’s going to cause much trouble and pain.
so you should be wise when allowing people in your life and
Ask God for some good people in your life to help accomplish your vision.
What is a door?
We usually pray to God to open a door for us. Every individual prays like this. But the door is actually a person.
If God wants to open a door He will connect you to a person. God will meet and provide enough help through that person in the area of comfort, emotional support, good ideas, finance, family, marriage, business, spiritual life etc. Many people aren’t aware about the power of divine relationship. Many times they ask and beg God to open a door.
Even though their door is open, people may not realise this.
I remember a word from my pastor, Ps. Augustine Babu (RGM Ministries Singapore ). He said
“ If God wants to do something in our life God will use a person, without a person God won’t do anything ”
This a great truth. God gives value for every good relationship.
You have to be wise when you allow a person in your life.
When we read about Joseph in the Old Testament, we see that Joseph had a vision which he shared with the wrong people. He thought that his brothers would help him to fulfil his dreams. However Instead of supporting him, they became a stumbling block for him. They tried to kill him by throwing him in the well.
But God was gracious to him and saved him from the pit of death and blessed him with power and position.
The people who worked with him also realised that God was with Joseph.
Even when he got imprisoned with false accusations, God’s favour was with him. Later on Joseph got the opportunity to interpret Pharaoh’s dream and then he got raised to the position of Governor by Pharaoh.
God even used the cup bearer, a fellow prisoner of Joseph, to let Pharaoh know about Joseph’s gift of interpreting dreams.
Dear friend, we only have one life. We have to be very wise in the actions and decisions we make.
Months and years will run fast and don’t forget to do the will of God before you finish the race on this earth.
Always choose the right people in your life.
